CARPENTER

What You’ll Do

Execute carpentry work such as demo, framing, installing trim, windows, doors, built-in cabinets, etc.
Work collaboratively on site with a small, dedicated team that values problem-solving, honest communication, and clean and safe job sites.
Solve the unique custom challenges that come with remodeling existing PNW homes.
Take personal ownership of the quality, fit, and finish of your work.

What We’re Looking For

Excitement for the Craft: Above all, you love building things well and care about the details. You get a kick out of clean joinery, tight reveals, and rock-solid construction.
Hands-on Experience: Solid knowledge of residential carpentry (framing, trim, deck building, or general remodeling). Whether you have 1 year or 15 years under your belt, what matters most is your eye for quality and willingness to keep sharpening your skills.
Problem Solvers: You can adapt when a remodel presents unexpected quirks and think through practical solutions.
Reliability & Respect: You show up when you say you will, communicate clearly, and treat our clients and their homes with respect.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

PROJECT COORDINATOR

What You’ll Do

This role is a mix of keeping daily projects on track and helping us build better ways of working.
Track project schedules, sub-contractors, permits, and material deliveries to keep job sites running smoothly.
Communicate between Fortunata staff and clients to ensure everyone is working off the same vision and expectations.
Assist with budget tracking, client selections, change orders, and invoicing support.
Act as a reliable point of contact for clients, ensuring they always know what’s happening next on their home.
Travel to job sites to communicate in person as needed.

What We’re Looking For

System-Builder Mindset: You enjoy taking messy or informal processes, organizing them, and building clean, practical systems that make everyone’s life easier.
Construction Curiosity: Background in residential construction, remodeling, or design is a huge plus, but an interest in the process and willingness to learn is what matters most.
Strong Communicator: You write clearly, speak directly, and keep people in the loop with a warm and professional approach.
Detail-Driven & Adaptable: You pick up tech quickly, notice small details before they become big issues, and stay calm when job site variables change.
